About Us
Located in the peaceful seclusion within the beautiful Rydal Valley, Crow How Country Guest House was originally a Victorian farmhouse. Built around 1880, it was transformed into a hotel around 1930. Today, it still retains its timeless character. With modern comfort and warm hospitality, we make you feel right at home.
Additionally, our location offers a combination of seclusion and close proximity to the charm of Ambleside. Just half a mile from our doorstep, Ambleside offers a lively mixture of pubs, restaurants, cafés and independent shops. As a base for exploring the Lake District, Crow How is surrounded by charming villages and the beauty of the fells. Also, many of the most popular walking and cycling routes are close by.
